Capt. Ruben "Snookdude" Garza Jr is owner and operator of Snookdude Charters based out of Port Mansfield, TX. At the age of five, Capt. Garza started fishing the Lower Laguna Madre with his grandfather and father. Since he was young, fishing has been passion which led him to a career in the retail fishing industry. He became an avid fly fisherman which soon led him to kayak fishing. Believe or not ,Jimbo Meador introduced him to this style of fishing in 1997, and from that day forward he has been kayak fishing. After years of working in the kayak industry, he decided to work towards his captain license so he could take others out to enjoy the beautiful Texas Gulf Coast. Fishing with Capt Garza you could be catching Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Flounder on fly or artifical lures.
